New Furnace Toronto

Hey all seems like our furnace is at its end of days and was wondering if people had any recommendations where to buy a new one?

Look no further. There is a huge group buy and feedback thread with Four Season comfort.

Definitely call Craig.

He will not be the cheapest. But his knowledge and quality of work speaks for itself and is worth every nickel

Just an FYI.
I did call Craig and he came.
Unfortunately, I'm guessing because he's so busy, he wasn't great at answering additional questions I had after the estimate.
I ended up going with a different company since I couldn't get the answers I needed from Craig.
I used Buttons in Ajax if you are looking for extra quotes.

Is Buttons good in terms of price? I'm also looking for a new furnace and AC.

Buttons was in the middle of the estimates I got.
Four Seasons came in lower by a few hundred but it was for a cheaper model too. Not apples to apples.
I'm guessing they might have been the same if I was able to get an upgraded quote from Four Seasons.

I guess enercare sells furnaces like the Bay sells clothing. Not worth even looking unless it has a half off sticker on it. The problem when they deeply discount off list price is that it is still difficult to determine whether the price is competitive. The discount gives an impression of potentially false value. They are better off simply to quote a competitive price.

Fortunately was able to get two other quoted prior to purchase so their price was better than 1 other and a few hundred dollars more than the other so I was satisfied. Nope not contract slave bought outright.
