New Landlord in Ontario

Can you share some insight into it.

Something I picked up through my research are.

1. Rental Application,
2. Job Letter,
3. Latest 2-Paystubs with income verification,
4. Credit Report.
5. Two Refs,
6. Previous landlord reference.

Imo you should just invest in stocks. Much less stressful. Even mutual funds.

But if you insist, then screening is important. They literally must be perfect. Full time job, proof of income,. employment letter, everything.

One thing I want to add use Naborly or TVS for tenant screening
