We purchased a house last year we got an email from asprinridge March 17

critical dates in certain circumstances, including where there has been an event and/or loss of construction time which amounts to an

“Unavoidable Delay.”

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

An “Unavoidable Delay” event has occurred which may delay completion of your home. The specific “Unavoidable Delay” trigger event is as follows: COVID-19 Pandemic - The Pandemic was declared on the 11th day of March 2020.

It may affect timing of delivery of your home due to labour/material shortage, Design Studio closure and increasing delays due to municipality shut downs that complete building permits, milestone inspections and occupancy permits.

Regrettably, it is possible that the pandemic may affect the completion and/or delivery schedule of your home.

You should be aware that the delay in completion of your home will include the combination of two (2) periods of time. The total delay will include both:

1) the period of time for direct impacts of the pandemic; but also,

2) any additional period of delay due to after-effects caused by the pandemic which are beyond the vendor’s reasonable control (the “Remobilization Period”).

It is difficult at this stage to be certain if or how long the total delays may be and thus how the construction schedule for your Home will be affected. As more information becomes available, we will keep you informed of developments.

Our goal is to ensure the safety of all our homeowners, staff and working partners and we apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. If you have any further questions, please email the undersigned with your specific lot # for further advice.

We contact the last week an the lady said that the date is extended until further notice due to covid but I seen there is workers there i think they just using covid as an excuse cause all the other builders are moving along quite well .

Hi there,

Just checking to see if you have been notified of a delay to your October closing?

We’re closing in February 2021 so will have to wait until November to see if they give us notice.
