Forward that to Telus. Does indeed sound like a scam (especially with the “Statewide” thing and the contract cancellation part)

Their email address domain was registered May 1, 2021. I guess their company, "TELUS MOBILITY," is one of those new startups.

I recently received a call from a 3rd party company stating they were working with Telus and had a great promotion for me. They asked with telecom I was with and when I said I was already with Telus, they immediately hung up. Face With Tears Of Joy

Could be intentional, to avoid getting flagged.

ok weird. I just got off the phone with the exact same pitch only when I told them I'm with Telus they said not a problem. $29 for 25GB, no contract, unlimited canada calling, texting, voice mail. $15 activation fee.

That sounds way too good to be true. Call came from 416-785-4325. I told them to call me back tomorrow (so I could investigate before being a victim of a sim swap)

edit: just spoke with Telus and the webchat agent stated they do not work with 3rd parties for promotions
