Huawei consumer grade product has nothing to do with its commercial product.

The main problem is its 28nm chip, which overheat easily so heavily throttled under high load.
Not to mention this only sell ¥229 (CAD$45) in China. Unbeatable price when it launched but there are much more better choice in 2021.

Sells in China... with a Chinese-only firmware, which can be quite a pain to configure. My unit works fine as a secondary router, swift performances for my Quest2 gear, BUT... I am still looking for an English firmware!

Use the chrome browser to login to the router interface. Google will translate the interface to English. Translation seems very accurate or at least I know what each options are. No need to wait for English firmware.

Agreed. Purchased two days ago and the range was disappointing. Returned and went back to my amplifi setup

I second this. In a 2000 sq ft house with my router on the main floor, I got 20 mbps on the top floor which was disappointing. I guess it would be best to buy 2 or 3 and put it in mesh mode
