Is the code 1-time use or can use across multiple orders of $200+?

I have a whole BC to build, the $20 extra is nice.

Given equal prices, would people recommend Newegg or amazon (have prime) or somewhere else? Given I am buying whole pc parts, worried I might just have to return/exchange at least 1 part...

title is still wrong, coupon is before tax not after tax like you have written out

$205.8 for Alberta, $5 cheaper than previous Amazon deal. I'm gonna wait for Amazon.ca's BF price before buying

Yeah they way they show it is at the bottom, you are right the coupon seems to before tax but with shipping combined and then taxed after.

Regardless great deal in my opinion.

GREAT DEAL!

Currently I am running a running a 1500X I bought for 130ca sealed on a Asrock B450M Pro 4 , very impressed with it. Decided to re-power wifes system & replace her 970 Gaming mobo/FX8350 and DDR3 with move the 1500X a B350 & DDR4 and then upgrade myself to the 2600 or 2600X. However I have the option to buy off ebay for less w conversion and parcel fee all in for 2600 or spend $44 Canadian more for a or a sealed better binned 2600X , newegg should be shipping for free on this but at least one can choose free pickup

You wont see it get much cheaper on BF, if anything may be $5 but then risk chance of limited stock being sold out, if you need the 2600 now this is a solid buy, for me it is $212.xx picked up locally.

Not really sure which boards are better to get, but I would imagine B450 & X470 would be better as they are newer, probably easier to work with.

ASRock B450M PRO4 micro ATX is an option at $95 - $30 MIR = $65: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.a ... 6813157843

But I have no clue if it's any good, I haven't looked into the newer boards, you'll have to really dig into reviews to make sure it meets your criteria and there are no issues. RAM compatibility was an issue, some kits didn't reach the advertised frequency on some motherboards.

I got a ASRock X370 Taichi for my 1700 a while ago, due to good VRM cooling on it, and it has been solid. But that line of motherboards are pretty expensive and overkill for most people, unless you want the specific features and plan to do heavy overclocking. I read the entire B350 line is sub-part due to VRM cooling (not sure if it has been improved in B450 line) so that's why I chose an X370 board in my case.

Ryzen really improves with decent RAM and some overclocking (even slight overclocking is better than none).

B450 board was specifically made with the 2nd gen Ryzens in mind apparently so that's the direction I'm gonna move in.

I was about to pull the trigger on the 2400G for a mATX build I'm working on, but may as well do the 2600 since it's the same price! These Ryzen CPUs are simply great value.

I don't plan to do any overclocking. It's for casual gamimg with an AMD RX 570 that is bottlenecked by my 1st Gen Core i5.

I think overclocking is a must to utilize all cores, otherwise it only boosts 2 of the cores I believe to 3.9 GHz. Unless they changed it. You can do a light overclock to like 3.6-3.7 GHz with default cooler and see hardly any temp increases.

I think it must be postmarked within 10 days of purchase not received. At least that's what I thought I read and sent mine away at day 7.

If you are looking for matx your best choice is he Asrock B450M Pro 4 or MSI B450 Mortar , I chose the Asrock and it worked perfect no issues w a 1500X. I paid $97 w tax after MIR, $22 more than today's new BF sale price. The MSI was more.

What ram would you recommend? I heard Ryzen shines with fast rams.

Theres a Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 going for $150 on cc flyers.

Should with well with asrock pro 4?
