Ebay has the router for $274.99, seller is also Newegg.

Lowest I've seen since looking to buy this router. I know Staples can match or beat the price if you have a coupon, but I haven't been able to find a working coupon in a couple of weeks.

***Don't forget to Rakuten 1% or GCR 1.3%

You can give a person knowledge, but you can't make them think. Some people want to remain fools because the truth requires change.

In the main menu, go to System Log > Wireless Log, scroll down, under "PHY" you will see your AX devices working, it'll also display your transmission rates. If you do not have ISP speeds that fast, it still means you can move files really quick between your server and computers.

Anyone have any experience running this with Bell Fibe? I'm currently using the stock Bell HH 3000 modem/router but need something with parental controls to keep my kids from getting up at 6am to watch stupid youtube videos lol. We are also a tech heavy household, lots of smart home stuff, computers, consoles etc.

This looks like a good fit perhaps, any thoughts?

If you are not running a smart hub and have individual IoT devices approaching > 45 connected, some will start to randomly disconnect. Since they’re mostly 2.4, I dedicate what I can to 5GHz like everyone’s phones and computers, and I’ve attached an old N66U to the AX86U as I add more plugs/switches/etc. I think you’ll find this issue with most residential routers.

The 5GHz range on my AX86U is fantastic, covers our 3300sf+, and the parental controls are super easy to setup on my phone.
