quick question, will the order from B&H get charged for duty fee or any import charge?

DUTIES & TAX

Guaranteed Landed Cost
Choose Pre-Pay Duties & Tax,
no additional charges at delivery.
From B&H website as long as you select the proper option at checkout. Definitely worth it, since it's only like $3.70 USD to clear it through for you.

Ok let's do the math, I am in QC:

NE: (369.99+8.99)+5%= 397.93

B&H: (286.828+18.98 for Customs clearance an taxes)*1.3 for US conversion (It may be a bit more than that) = 397.55 saving a whole 38 Canadian cents. This scenario assumes that A) you do not pay more the conversion fee by the CC company and B) you do not get dinged by additional fees/taxes at delivery.

What worries more about this phone is that it only has LTE band 4 which Rogers supports unlike most NA phones which have wider LTE band supports. Rogers/Bell uses 4/7/17 but I have no idea how having only 4 would impact performance in a large urban area like Montreal/Toronto.

Correction it also has band 17 but is missing 7.

Basically a 15$ monthly premium over the typical price of such a deal which amounts to a 255$ LG4 after factoring the gift card. Also came with a free car charger.
I already have a company SIM card so a contract is a no-no for me. The whole rigmarole with the contracts annoys me to the umpteenth level.

Fair bit of warning: the older revisions of the lg g4 have been spontaneously failing/bricking. Check the hardware version of the phone first.

Thanks for the heads up. What should one look for?

Does it work with wind?
i am just hoping it would even though it doesn't have 1700mhz band.

No some people on reddit also reported bricking on 60x models made in 2016. Stay away.

US models only? I saw one post in reddit that said Canadian models weren't affected, and I'm hoping for some confirmation so I don't have to lose sleep over my phone.
