[Newegg] Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel - $379 (+ $9.99 shipping)

You have to be fast on this one. Use promo code LOGIT29DEC to get $100 off of the $479 price. Expires 19 Dec.

It's the PS4 compatible wheel to buy for the folks that want better racing games experience. Works with PC too, but better stick with a G27 and save some money if you're buying it for PC.

Canada,Eh!
OK, I'm a bit biased against Logicrap after they burned all of the G25/G27 wheel owners by not allowing it to work on the PS4.

Here's an open box Thrustmaster T300RS on Amazon.ca's Warehouse Deals site for $313, with FREE shipping.

http://www.amazon.ca/Thrustmaster-T300- ... rustmaster

IMHO, a far superior wheel.

If I remembered correctly, that's sony, not Logitech. I have g27 for my ps3 and it was great. Not sure about Thrustmaster's quality, but from the customer reviews, it's garbage.

I had a G27 wheel and the steering went to ***** within 3 months. Luckily BestBuy let me have a refund. There was a problem with the gears and it was common problem for a lot of the wheels.

My apologies to bobitza, as I do realize that in context this is a lower price for the G29, and am in no way trying to flame on your deal.
Logitech is the problem.

hansdoreen, Logitech was caught in a lie about the prior G series wheels "lacking a security chip in order to work with the PS4".
I also own a Fanatec Forza CSR wheel which works perfectly fine on the PS4....and THAT's originally an Xbox 360/PS3/PC wheel!!!
No "chip" required.
That's because Fanatec supplied the drivers to the game dev's for Project Cars, The Crew and (I think) DriveClub.
It was a case of the software developers & the wheel makers working together in order to provide support and the drivers.
Logitech disallowed use of the G25/G27 drivers (remember that they also "left the console market" 2 or so years ago?) on the PS4, then came out with a re-skinned G27/DFGT wheel MINUS the shifter for 2X the price!

I haven't tried it, because I don't think it would be a good match for the game, but apparently the G25/G27 wheels work for the flying & tanks game War Thunder on the PS4.
WTF?????
It must see the wheel as a generic PC peripheral.
Flying a plane with a steering wheel....LOL!!!!!!!

I have not, and refuse to purchase any further Logitech items due to how they've handled and outright lied about, then ignored their customers with regards to the issues.
Even shortly after purchasing my T300RS wheel, several open-box G29's showed up on NCIX's site for $261, and I still couldn't pull the trigger due to how they'd treated their customers who made them the #1 install base for wheels.

Should've called Logitech, they would've sent you a replacement.

I bought a G25 a bunch of years ago and my shifter got messed up after a few months, I called up Logitech and the g25 was discountinued so they sent me a brand new G27 for free.

Their warranty support is great I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Logitech product
