Is this a great game?
Absolutely

is it a great Zelda game?
Not entirely.

It's no Majora's Mask that's for sure.

For me this is the worst Zelda game
Unpopular opinion from someone who has played every Zelda - breakable weapons/tedious traveling of the open world made this more work than fun for me.

IMO, the best way to get this game is when shoppers has 20x points, work out to be 30% off(before tax value, full tax on original price.)

For those willing to wait and who use game sharing, they offer this game digitally from Costco and the masterpass 20 off 100 applies. Very good price if you game share.
Didn’t find it on Costco.ca or com.
Are you sure?

Nintendo games almost never get a price cut (and they rarely go on sale). That said, I'm not much of a gamer but I think this is the best game I have ever played.
A lot of switch games can be found in sale, its just that some games are rarely on sale. Zelda is a good example.

Got in on a 20x points at Shoppers, happens often enough that you can wait for that.

Is the Switch hacked?
Certain models are via an NVIDIA exploit. The list of currently homebrew compatible switches (identified by serial numbers) is available online. I think that the ones sold following/during our most recent summer are all patched from the factory to fix the exploit.

Factory patched units are still pending liberation.

Most people pick it up at Shoppers on a $25 back on $75 spent promo. $80 games come out to about $66 after tax and most SDM's will stock Zelda. EB Games also have tons of used copies, the game is almost 2 years old now.

That said, this game is amazing and well worth $80.
Which one? I haven't seen a single one in Vancouver that carries games. I was shopping around a few SDMs in Vancouver two weeks ago and all the stores said they don't carry it.

Checked on 3 Pharmaprix in Mtl. One had a bunch of old PS4 and Xbox one games, the other two no gaming stuff. Kind of gave up on the 20x point for games.
Traded in God of War for $30 (bought for $29.99 + tax) and got Mario Deluxe, which is a lot of fun btw.

That’s because you are playing it with your eyes closed
