Just ordered, thanks!

(I was torn between the m.2 version of this or the 256GB 950 Pro for my next build, and this price won me over.

this will be a good stopgap until a high capacity 950 PRO drive drops in price more.

For those that are eBates users, ebay is at 5% cashback for a limited time. I bought one today, hopefully the cash will come through as expected

The deal on the PNY drive at Bestbuy yesterday was much better for only $120. I don't understand why so many people on RFD blow so much money on Samsung SSDs. They are way overpriced and they offer no real world performance advantage.

Well they do perform better, slightly more space, more reliable brand, more user feedback, longer warranty and lack of access to a time machine are few good reasons to get the Samsung.

Where can one buy a 500gb ssd for less than $170?

There have been multiple deals on excellent 480gb SSDs for ~$120. The Bestbuy.ca deal is sold out unfortunately. $170 is way too much to pay for a 500gb SSD though IMO.

Kingston HyperX Savage 480GB is $169.99 on dell.ca. Use the $25OFF$150ELECTRONIC coupon code to get additional $25 off. Then use ebates to get cashback. :)

That's a decent deal, though I'm kind of avoiding Kingston, they switched to a cheaper controller in one of their ssd.

Also and 480gb =/= 500gb =p

Where can I get a 25 off 150 code?
