It's a beautiful laptop but....the popup webcam, although great for privacy and sleek bezels....it's horrible angle and you'll just be broadcasting your nose hairs in HD quality.

Furthermore, soldering memory is a no no !

Agreed, but my bias bleeds through.

The RAM is soldered at 8GB; 7GB of which is usable. Huawei Matebook isn't quite a Microsoft Surface Book, but some people will find value in this deal. I'm not voting one way or another on this deal, just sharing. The reviewers below like the laptop as a basic machine, but the RAM issue closes the door to more interesting use cases.
