You can get the Honor Magic Watch 2 46 mm which is pretty much this watch for about 80$ less. (I paid 138$ USD for mine)

I have this watch and have had it on my wrist since release. There is still not another watch that compares if you are looking for something that doesn't have to be charged every day, as is the case with every other smartwatch. Battery life for the GT2 is 2 weeks plus. The lists of features is massive and include SPO2 monitoring, heart rate, stress level, in watch music storage so you can go jogging without your phone, GPS, its waterproof, has a barometer, weather, lets you read phone messages, you can answer and make calls from the watch, as well as a very lengthy set of fitness tracking programs to include swimming tracking. Most importantly to me personally, the watch stays on while you sleep and monitors your sleep levels and patterns very well. Also, the watch faces are endless... I find that, during work hours, I use the watch for answering and making calls more than I do my phone. Charging from 0 takes about an hour.

The watch is not cell tower connected which is why the battery life is so long, and as such, it does not have any of the pay apps available within...at least it didn't initially. IT is BT connected to the phone but has most features independent in the watch which will later automatically sync to the phone app. It's GPS is dead on and I find it VERY accurate in monitoring distance and times during active walking, jogging, walks through th woods etc...it even monitors your elevation during this.

Yes, very happy. It replaces a Fitbit xmas gift whose screen was small & hard to read. Although there is room for improvement(watchface work around, no message replies) the gt2 is great with a big bright and clear display & great battery life.

This is very tempting, I've been looking into getting Whoop but it is so crazy expensive. This looks like it has most of the same features and looks good too.

Just be aware that the watch’s functions are limited for iPhones, otherwise a great watch.

Hi all, for those who have this, could any one answer the following questions:

  1. Are you able to use Google Pay / NFC with this watch?
  2. Are there any third party apps now?
  3. Can you reply to SMS/Whatsapp/Emails from the watch directly?
  4. Can you answer phone calls from the watch directly (and if so, how close does the watch need to be to your phone)?
  5. Can you track exercises (GPS/activity) without the phone being close?

1. Yes Chinese version only.
2. No.
3. No. Read only.
4. Yes and about 80-100 yards. You can also call from contact list directly from the watch.
5. Yes. The watch works independent of the phone for all but messages and voice answering. It will sync later. For example, if my BT isn't connected for a week, all that has occurred will sync when I turn BT back on.

Do you have a link to how you change watchfaces? Appears like you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to do this.

There are countless faces that come with the watch itself...probably 30 or more and free. For specific high end brand faces one has to find the FB pages and even playstore has an app

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... l=en&gl=US

I haven't changed faces in awhile but have 15 on my watch. At the time I did it, it was a bit tricky but possible without having to endanger the watch or app. There is even a standard face that you can make your own from piks...as with m car pik shown below.

thank you for this! I have the GT and couldn't for the life of me get new watch faces due to restrictions.

to answer the previous question can you reply to messages. You can reply back to wechat messages in Voice, I'm not sure about whatsapp etc.

Down the road and into the woods... Haven't a clue what you mean by breadcrumbs but the fitness tracking pairs up with Google maps and is dead on. This pik may answer your question. I use this while I hunt out back as I can usually venture 5 km into the woods to hunt. The watch also tracks your incline and decline on those trails.

Thanks! Breadcrumbs is when it places markers on your map so you can retrace your path back while on the hike.

So when I'm in the trail I can just follow the markers back to where I started.

It has breadcrumbs tracking, but it does not overlay on a map. It just a line you can follow to get back. It is very accurate and easy to follow.
It is activated by selecting outdoor walk under excercise.
