$50 off? What is newegg smoking... I'd only ever recommend this drive at a price like this.

PS, was $5 cheaper yesterday, someone else posted a coupon code, might still work, not sure.

Pretty similar drives. Both perform quite poorly as far as NVMe goes. They rely on a dynamic SLC cache to obscure the fact that they are using cheap QLC nand. When using the cache, they can outperform a similarly price SATA drive by a nice margin but when the cache runs out, SATA drives are faster. This is only an issue for long file transfers or when the drive is getting near full. So it depends on what you need it for, if you just want something that is mostly gonna be an OS/boot drive and won't ever really fill up, these are decent. If you plan to use it as your only SSD, I'd either go SATA or spend a bit more and get something better.
