[Newegg] KN95 Face mask 13.99$ 25 Piece Free shipping

Hi

This deal is not for people who are getting fitting checked and use N95 masks exclusively.

This are China made KN95 mask at almost 50% discount, approx 56 cent a piece plus tax which is cheapest I found so far. These are better than cloth or surgical masks in terms of safety. These are not recommended for longer wearing time due to small ear loops. Deal is expiring tonight.

Thanks

Wow, this is actually a hot deal. These go for around $2 a piece at wholesale rates.

Poor reviews says nose bridge is not good and strings are flimsy.

Judging by a review the nose clip doesn't even hold shape (plastic?), which KN95 should have at a minimum.

Flawed KN95 >> normal medical mask > cotton mask.

If you are a doctor treating sick patients, don't wear it, but for the public it is overkill (in a good way).

Unfortunately disposable masks create waste though. Better invest in a high quality washable mask.

I agree with this...those cloths/non medical grade based coverings they have ppl wearing are utter garbage.
Ahh the feeling I get when I've saved some money...more money for the more important things!

Cloth masks were ok when cases in Ontario were around 100s not now. The 3 layer medical mask is a minimum.

One could reinforce the string with a little crazy glue. Like get the smallest single use glues from dollarama for like 4 for whatever price and keep one with you. I've been using that single use one for months and no drying out. Just using it for a little dab here and there. You can also reinforce it by dusting a little baking soda on the glued area.

Thx Op, ordered! Even if they're fakes, i'm sure they work better than the regular medical masks. great price!

FYI the "fake" masks that got rejected/recalled still work, just not up to KN95 standards. They were found to be only ~50% effective for filtration due to various reasons (straps, nose bridge, material, etc). So realistically, rejected KN95 masks are still more effective than regular cloth and even surgical masks.

there is still a world wide shortage of melt blown fabrics. chances of cheap real filtered masks are slim since high demand products in china are gouged and not the typical race to the bottom.

if ur thinking fake may b better than surgical/cotton or w/e, you can search for tests and see wide ranging results.

OOS but they look similar to the ones from dollarama that I'm using which are 2 for $4. I can say those KN95's and the $4 ones at Dollarama are literally night and day from a surgical mask. For me they form a nice seal around my face and they make it noticeably more difficult to breathe. You can see the mask puckering when I inhale. When I put on a surgical mask, it feels like no mask after wearing those KN95's.

Yes, I was using those over the summer but I went back recently and they have the $4 ones and 2 for $4 now. The 2 for $4 are a bit smaller but both make a nice seal.
