This monitor is just HDR10 compatible. If you're looking for a decent HDR gaming experience, I would suggest a higher model like 27UL600 or 27UL650.

Ordered this one too, and I think I'll cancel the Amazon one. It will be easier to find another black (vs. white) monitor for my 2nd monitor that I need with different specs. Hoping to find something decent BF/CM.

Also, I looked at a few comparisons on these monitors and I think they are the exact same except for the color. Although there are differences in every comparison, I think it's just the person/format it was written. The most thorough comparison I found (linked below) is identical, minus the input lag (must be an error), and the features. I think the person that did the features on the 27UL500 was lazier than the one that did it on the 27UK500. Anyone able to confirm this? If not, would be substantial difference in features, in favour of the black model. Unfortunately LG's website was useless, they had completely different format and information for both models.

I just got this monitor from amazon today and I LOVE IT. The HDR is great, amazing video quality. The split screen software is great for work and the gsync works great for games. I tired league of legends and it was SMOOTH in 4k. 100% would recommend!

Hi, is it showing 4K on your netflix using your PC? I just want to check before I buy. I got a 4K monitor from samsung but apparently it is not hdcp2.2 so I am not able to watch netflix in 4K using my pc. Thanks.

According to LG US, 'K' is 2020 model.
I agree it is exactly the same except color.

I'll take the 2020 model, maybe they even improved some internal components. Whatever it is, im sure they didnt make it worse!

What's better: this or the LG 27GL650F-B? Im looking for a monitor for PS4. The 1080p at 27" doesn't bother me for the GL. So i was wondering how the other features compare if anyone has had experience with the GL650. Rtings only has the UK650-W reviewed.

Max I could get is 1080p but I got a fire stick 4k and just put it in another slot to easily switch over
