Have been looking for a 27"-32" monitor with >1080p resolution,
this is even IPS, so I think this is a pretty decent deal
anyone have thoughts? I searched youtube for reviews but were all in Korean...

Pros: Has great resolution. Brings out details you can't see with 1080.
Cons: You can't touch the screen nor can you touch the front part of the sides. They explain this in the instructions. If you inadvertently touch one of those spots, lines form on the screen an it is ruined
The on-off switch is on the back making it hard not to touch the edge

Other Thoughts: If I had known this before I bought it, I would not have bought it!
Very disappointed!
That seems sketch. Think I'll be staying away.

I ve been eyeing on this for a while (it was $319 while staples offered Acer for $299 with stackable coupons on top).

So.. should I pull the trigger now while I have a 27 as main ... Tell me a way how to hide this away from my wife s eyesight lol

I actually went to the official website, download the manual, and read through it

I think what the guy did was put significant pressure on the screen or the bezel creating lines or spots...you try doing the same to any TV, I think it’s the same. I would suggest just taking ordinary care and precaution should be fine.

If you have a 27” as your main...just wait for a better deal?? I saw a March thread there was a 10% off stackable coupon on newegg too, so this is a very good price, but not the lowest

It's been at this price a couple times, once not long ago it went on sale on eBay Newegg with additional 10% off coupon and 8% eBay Bucks rebate. Worked out to roughly $250 tax in.

I'd wait. Also, keep a lookout on eBay Newegg and sign up to eBay Bucks so you get the bucks promos.

wow $250 tax in, thanks for your advise.

this LG monitor looks way better than the acer one in terms of the layout and design (IMO)

My son & I got one of these each on the last deal and are very happy with them... don't worry about that Newegg comment, I can touch the screen and bezel all around and nothing happens. 75Hz may be a deal-killer for some (and neither of us has set up FreeSync yet) but they're clear and bright and look awesome in games.
