[Newegg] LG OLED65C7P 65-inch OLED 4K HDR LED Refurbished - $2089 - back in stock

Deal is alive again. Only 90 days warranty, that's stopping me for now but very tempting.

Anybody pulled the trigger?

LG OLED65C7P refurbished $2,089.99

Free shipping, GST only for Quebec resident, that makes a grand total of $2,194.49.

Shiet... I definitely don't need it, but I want it... should I pull the trigger?

Is this TV worth it?

Are returns possible? How much of a hassle is it? Especially since it's from a third-party seller.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll pass. It's a pricy lottery ticket

Somehow I imagine that these are the refurbished items bought on Newegg 1-2 weeks ago and now are returned/put back in stock Neutral Face

I went through only one bad experience trying to return a 65" tv bought online that was a total pos. YMMV but I stick to picking up TV at big box stores with easy returns. Unless online vendor allows returns to its brick and motor store with no restocking fee.

I tried to call the company to ask couple questions and no one will take the phone.
I imagine it will not be easy to return tv.

These OLEDs can suffer from bad banding, and most of these refurbs are returns due to this issue. Stay away.
Buy from store you can return easily if you have noticeable banding after a bit of use.

Also these 2017 models are going to drop very soon, so you can get brand new for a good price shortly.

I called BRINC on Monday morning. Left a voice message and someone called back about an hour later.
They don't allow in person return nor they can show you the TV as they simply don't deal with individual retail client like us.
They seem only sell through corporate channel.
I think they get their stock from LG as refurbished item. Just check to make sure it works and sell to street customer.
No extended warranty except their 90 days warranty.
I will also consider risky to spend $2K on a refurbished TV without good return policy or warranty.

Play games in Vivid mode or 100 OLED light then, yeah, you're asking for it....
