Nonsense. Where is that downvote button?

Post something better or STFU
@lewdvig I remember you from the good old days in University :)
If my 15 year old memory serves me correctly we commented on the Corsair F120 Refurbished forum on RFD... but I could be wrong ;)

Nice, that's an extra year warranty for the same price as the microsoft store link from the last page.

If you compare to the regular retail price this seems OK. If you take into account the fact that it’s an old budget model and will be oos and discontinued every where, this price is actually just “regular”. If you compare to good deals regularly on this forum, this is ice cold.

I would say unless you absolutely need a laptop now, at this exact moment, don’t buy it. Please don’t ask me to show you a better deal as of now, for similar spec machines. There were many posted in this forum. Please don’t ask for time machine either, you don’t need it to buy a computer(buy lottery). Just come to the forum regularly.

MSI customer service is terrible. When my MSI laptop battery started to swell after a year, CS agent told me to get rid of the battery. And since they don't make the model anymore, i cannot get a replacement battery from MSI, i even told them I'll pay but too bad so sad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

My right fan also started rattling after a year in, and of course MSI has no replacement part. It's like they design everything to fail after first year, and you have to buy third party parts cause MSI doesn't make any. Solid customer service Pile Of PooPile Of Poo

Gladly PayPal you as soon as you point out a $700 laptop with those specs.

Yeah, warm at best. I paid this 5 months ago for essentially the same setup but with a 1050ti instead of a 1050. (Microsoft store Dell G3 in December).

5 months later I'd expect not only a 1050ti, but a $50 - $100 discount over this price.

On the positive side... this has a much better screen than the dell (I actually replaced the dell's screen with the model that's probably in this particular laptop).
That is exactly what I wanted to say except I didn't change the screen as it looks ok for me.
To OP; if you can wait, I would suggest waiting. I am sure you can find a much better deal (hopefully soon).

I have experience working in computer sales and service. My employer recommends ASUS and Lenovos. He also suggested MSI too for a client running a i7, 16gb and 1060 6gb. So I think he recommends MSI but that was last year.

My next laptop will be a ASUS just for reliability sake

Hi everyone.
I just want to share my experience with MSI.
I bought few years ago a AIO gaming Msi desktop with 970(if i dont mistake). Just after one year graphic card was not working anymore.that computer had 2 graphics card, integrated plus geforce. ofcorse broke the second one.I brought my computer in and after paying service fees they told me couldnt get fix because they didn't make anymore that graphics card for AIO.so i had with me a 4k conputer with 32gb ram and good cpu but not graphic card that i could replace.they didnt care. Zero fuk.
Very disappointed with a company like MSI.personally i will never shop with them again.I know that probably most of the names out there would treat me the same but from MSI i would expect something more

If I don't mistake, periodically SDM has lenovo with better specs for 899 plus lots points back in your optimum card,up to 350 dollars back in points
AIO are a real issue. This always happen. Stay away from aio computers!
If they were past the one year warranty, and the gpu was no longer in production, and the board was not compatible with a different gpu (or the gpu was not replacable/soldered) then it's sadly not much their problem anymore :( It's how it work :(

You can get the new Dell G3 with an i5 9300h and GTX 1650 for $900 if you can sign up for the %10 off coupon. It will blow this out of the water.
