Canada computers had a 3090 for 2499 available online for the last week or so. Not sure about the brand though, but they’ll definitely be more available from now on.

Unless you need the extra memory I think the 3080ti for $1800 is a better deal no?

Same card available on Canada Computers for $2500, but you need a local store with stock.
I phoned them, they don't do online orders to Manitoba.

Depends if you want it for gaming or mining.

buying gpus at insanely inflated prices = giving nvidia and amd your permission and blessing for them to ravage your behind area.

Only card worth it imo was the RX 6800XT at MSRP directly from AMD's site, and maybe Nvidia founders editions at msrp from their site. All the other stuff = garbage pricing.

The point is some people cannot wait not everybody uses gpu’s soley for playing games or mining, unpopular opinion some are actually used to as fans to cool hot rooms

GPU acceleration for parallel computing and AI in industrial applications is also in high demand. I work in robotics and we can't get enough of this stuff. So in addition to crypto, there are some real non-gaming areas also driving up demand and inflating prices.

Those who gotta buy ofc gotta buy, but if all gamers who don't have to buy didn't buy, I'm sure amd and Nvidia would think twice before they dismantle the lower and middle bracket pricing.

There were available online until recently. They were sitting in stock for days. I’m sure they’ll get more again soon. I wasn’t interested because I don’t want to pay over MSRP.

Great idea on buying direct on AMD site... $815US
Tried adding 6800XT to cart, but doesn't seem to work.

Tried different browsers & Phone.
