[Newegg] OBi200 VoIP Telephone Adapter with Google Voice & SIP (Formerly OBIHAI OBi200) $64.99

Obi200 is down to $64.99 again. Don't bother checking for it on Newegg's eBay store, it is out of stock.

How much are the rates for service? Couldn't find it on the site. You also only need one of these hubs right? If you had let's say 4 phones in your house, you would only need to connect to one of the phones in order to get service for all 4 phones?

If you have 4 phones, you would connect the output of this to any phone jack, which will provide service to all the other phone jacks. From that point you just use your phones as if you had a land line.

What's a good carrier to use? I've been using iTalkBB because we need a Hong Kong number to call my grandma. There's the occasional US calls too but those are extremely rare.

Does not offer Canadian numbers. The US number can be activated with a valid US number and used anywhere.

This deal is for hardware only.
You find your own VOIP service, and then put the two together.

Thanks.

I looked into them but they don't provide a Hong Kong phone number.

I think you can get it working but it is getting harder and harder. (I don't have it set up)

I use Voip.ms and for most of Canada incoming/outgoing it is .5C per minute. I've had no problems. I end up paying about $50 a year and most of that is because I have e911 enabled.

What's the all time low price on this? Think it was $50?
Looking for some more opinions from those who own this.
How is this model? Is this a sell off with a better model coming in? Is this one riddled with bugs?

I got one a couple of years ago. It is a beast! I got google voice, freephoneline, and Anveo running on it. Thinking of getting a sipgate UK number for kicks. It just works.

The obi call attendant is a poor man's PBX. I use it for call back on my $13 Public Mobile unlimited incoming calls plan, so I do not have to use any more than 1 of my 100 minutes to make any call. If I need to call the US, I can set up call back to get google voice to place the call. It is a fun toy to play with!
