Truth. A lot of these phones don't even use the full potential because of software limitations.

Google pixel 2 camera hardware wasn't anything special, but the software made it amazing.

It's definitely not ALL about camera software

It is partially about that, which is why the Mi 9 has a better camera than the OP7 despite having the same sensor. The sensor is INCREDIBLY important though.

Most sensors are very good for a phone ... We are not talking about DSLR ...

OnePlus keeps updating their software regularly so I think the image quality can be improved even further since it uses a good sensor.

That's just factually wrong, but ok.

You can have the exact same software on 2 different phones and get massive differences because of the sensor.

There're many videos from youtube comparison between these 2 phones, I'll say P30 pro is better.

Just be careful if this is the International Version. Some of our providers won't run on their bands. I remember when I was getting the 5T the international version was not compatible with Freedom Mobile (Then Wind).

Depends. P30 Pro still has that cool periscope 5x optical zoom where the OP 7 Pro is limited to like 2 or 3x. It's also superior in low light situations. Overall the P30 Pro appears to still have the best (most versatile) rear camera(s) but if you don't care about the P30 Pro's specific advantages, the OP 7 Pro is still really damn good. I know people like to refer to DSO mark (it's a good place to compare) but you have to choose what camera features matter the most to you before deciding.

price is tempting but I had terrible experience with newegg about a stolen package. I'm glad ebay stepped in and solved the issue

I dont wanna have to deal with them in case the seller is a fraud. They will come up with excuses for sure

Pretty sure this would be the China or HK version, not Canadian.

It has all the LTE bands to use the Big 3. Not sure about Freedom.
