I highly doubt there's any real "issues" as the seller claims as oneplus checks the devices thoroughly before they leave their factory. This seems to be a way for the seller to get people to cancel their cheaper orders and buy at the more expensive rate.

If it was truly the devices being faulty, why wouldn't they just indicate the order will be delayed and send them out when they get new stock?

I'm also under the impression the seller is trying to get people to cancel at the $796 price to make a profit at a higher price. Just checked right now (Aug 28th, 10:33am EDT) and the price is now $888.90.

This, all he has to do is flash it to Oxygen OS and swap chargers for NA.

He's RFDing us back.

Do you think he is delaying my order to make me refund my order?

Definitely still feels like a gamble though.
I'm going to try to reach out to see if it is indeed a issue with this batch and if so if I can just wait for delivery from the next batch

Wait a while more... Mine took at least 8 days to show up in DHL... Do you have your tracking number for DHL?

Also try the DHL # on 4PX.COM as mine showed up there a couple days before it was showing on the DHL site.

Eh, at $889 might as well spend a bit more for the warranty from OnePlus directly. The Asian version is also missing a couple of bands compared to the NA version, so if you go roaming in the US on AT&T or T-Mobile that can be a concern.

Yeah that's what mine did until it worked one day... I'd wait a few more days for it to show up.

it says on the description that it is compatible with AT&T and T-mobile. I am with Rogers so when I cross the border it switches to ATT. Hoping that it would not be a concern.

I think he meant Verizon. US CDMA networks are not supported.
