You can have the exact same software on 2 different phones and get massive differences because of the sensor.
You are nitpicking....
The scenario you described does not apply to flagship devices. Most of them use sensors from the same manufacturer ( eg sony, Samsung)....
Don't buy phones based on paper spec.....

Not sure why people are comparing cameras for the OP7 pro with other devices. The main reason to get the OP7 pro is for oneplus first flagship display. That 6.7inch 90hz 2k panel is probably the best atm now that the Note 10 pro flopped.

As a Note 8 user, I was so disappointed with both Note 10 models. The smaller Note 10 is an absolute joke, and though the Note 10+ seems like a great phone, the hole punch in the display kills it for me. The OnePlus 7 Pro's display is easily the best in the market right now.

It was an easy decision for me. After tax and discount the Note 10+ is like 1500$~ but the Oneplus7 pro with its class leading display is 850$~ with express shipping. I'm literally saving 650 bucks!

I think Samsung is on crack to charge over 1200$ for the Note 10+

If I buy this with my CIBC Aventura cc will the mobile device insurance be valid? Or it won't be valid because it's a reseller via Newegg?

OnePlus phones are all manufactured the same, regardless of where they are sold. Most overseas sellers are flashing OxygenOS, which is what you would have on the phone if you buy from OnePlus website in Canada. Some ship with HydrogenOS, which is meant for the Asian markets. It's very easy to flash OxygenOS on a device that came from factory with HydrogenOS.

Thx op. Really tempting. Newegg takes PayPal. However I'm wondering if the price will come down more in X'mas.

Just ordered one.... directly from oneplus though.

Decided it wasn't worth saving a couple hundred bucks and risking issues with a HK vendor.

When ordering directly from oneplus they ship immediately and you have 15 day no-questions-asked return policy.

From the official oneplus website it won't go below 799$ for a long time that's for sure.

But theres no benefit in the OP7pro 5g vs the OP7 pro. Specs are the same and for those that want the 12gb of ram your limited to 8gb and same with storage at 256gb.

Unlike the S10+ vs S10 5g where ur getting a larger battery + screen size in trade of a max of 8gb ram and 512gb storage but I'm not sure if many people bought the 12gb/1tb S10+ variant.

I just got an email from OnePlus. Now they have 5% discount and comes with a earphone and case.

Have 2 1+ phones in the house. 3 and 3+. They all working after that many years. Except the 3+ had the infamous camera problem but they fixed it free of charge. Good and frequent updates. Don't come with that many useless apps compare to Sams. However the new batch tends to be less attractive because of the premium price.
