That’s a good price right? I don’t know why ps reg prices are so much higher than Xbox? Or maybe it’s because Xbox sub is always on sale somewhere. Seems deals on PS sub aren’t quite as many.

Thanks OP

Part of it is due to free games but mostly due to Sony just being able to get away with it. After all, most seem to prefer gaming on PS4 even if they own a Xbox One X (me included). Nintendo on the other hand will be charging much less for theirs starting next year again due to the fact they probably feel like they won't be able to get away with charging much (i rarely actually play my switch in front of my TV and being honest, anytime i play switch, i rarely need to even go online unless i'm playing splatoon).

The other part is, lets be honest, i think some of us (RFDers) might have PSN expiry till 2020+ so no one is probably paying much attention to PSN+ deals. Everyone knew about the price hike coming and there were post (after post) about places with the old cards before the price increase. So sometime there might be a deal but no one would pay attention to it or post about it.

on Microsoft website 3 months $29.99, 6 months $44.99, 1 year $69.99

so they are same price @ msrp. xbl does have more sales.

Would the three months be stackable toward the year like say if my psn expired in one year if I bought the three months it would expire in one year and 3 months?

Yes. PS Plus is stackable. In the past I've stacked 3 years worth when I bought several before the price increase. My current PS Plus subscription doesn't expire until October 2019.

Just did the math and 17.99*4 is 71.96 (for a 12 month membership)

Regular 1 year membership is 69.99 at sony playstation store.

I guess it works if you only want 3 months..
