Isn't this a great price for a 1050ti/1060?

1060, maybe. Where are you finding a 1060 3GB for a similar price?

I definitely would not get a 1050ti if I could find a 570 in this price bracket. The performance difference is too great.

Bad phrasing, I meant isn't this a great price for a card equivalent to a 1050ti/1060?

Seems like a good deal, I think I picked up the 470X about a year and a half ago for around $280 all taxes + shipping in.

It has been a great card, playing all games at 1440p at high or ultra high. This should be more than adequate for the casual gamer.

New egg ships all products even on their .ca site from the US?
Hope they ship their orders thru a processing centre or have a warehouse actually in Canada so they take care of any issues from customs.

They can be a bitch and even USPS sends letters saying you owe them for trying to ship that $2000 PC months later.
Not just the couriers like Fed Ex that are notorius of doing for whatever they drop at your door.

Never ordered from New egg before so this is an honest question because I was one of those in the green when it comes to US/Canada border custom shipping and got one of those letters before two months after thinking everything was paid for when I clicked checkout and paid all the shipping charges before.
It is not pleasant to receive a SECOND BILL for $250 afterwards which is insane. Saying to pay this amount immediately.
Not a pleasant experience at all. Disappointed Face

The red dragon design of cards is probably the worst rx 570/580 you can buy. I wouldn’t go with that card even for 255

have ordered a number of products from newegg.ca shipped from .com in the states & have never been tagged for duties &or extra charges (shipping's usually free or fixed). so long as one orders from the .ca site, it'll be like buying locally no matter where they ship it from is what my experiences have shown.

Interesting what is said in this separate thread about buying a tv from new egg/amazon us sites because they do not honour the warranty to Canadians as well:

the 1060 3gb is generally slightly faster than the rx 570 4gb at 1080p
