[Newegg] SAMA IM01 mATX case - the NR200 clone which accepts mATX boards and ATX PSUs - Shellshocker deal @ $75 + tx/Shipping

Many people here love the CoolerMaster NR200.
It's a beautiful case, very well engineered, well ventilated and easy to access on all sides.
But it is restricted to ITX motherboards, and its makers recommend using SFX power supplies.

What if I told you there's a NR200 equivalent - at nearly the same size! - that takes full mATX boards and regular PSUs, at the same price/quality level as the NR200?

Feast your eyes on the SAMA IM01 :

Have this case. Using an matx board with a regular ATX PSU.

Only 1 fan (120 mm) on the side and 1 (120mm) on top fits with ATX PSU. (also 2 on bottom and 1 on the back)

Having owned at least 2 dozen computer cases, I'd recommend it.

$88 to ship to my location. Ouch!

But TYVM to OP for making me aware of what looks like my next case!

I could have save $100 on the motherboard if I knew about this sooner. o_o

Jokes aside, I agree... When I found out through that Reddit thread that this has been available since last July, I was flabbergasted.

I'm one of those with a NR200P that had no idea this existed... welp.

Shame there's no glass panel available...

There is... on Aliexpress... but you don't want to know how much it costs...

HmMm so no bottom fans if one uses a mATX board since the fans may interfere with front panel connectors/connectors that are at the "bottom" of your motherboard. Definitely interesting case though.

Unfortunately the max CPU cooler height is 155mm, and my Noctua U12S is 158mm. What are some other good options for a case that supports mATX, and full-sized ATX PSU while being as small as possible?

From the reviews some people got a 158mm cooler in there, may want to check out more reviews and see what's possible.

ive got it as well. fun case to build in. running a 3800X cooled by a Corsair 240mm LC and a 3060ti. A little hard to work with a MATX and a ATX PS but its manageable.

I’ve been struggling with this as well. Opted for a D15s and haven’t been able to find a mATX airflow case that fits the bill (trying to downsize physical space of my current desktop). Only option I’ve come across so far is the Fractal Torrent Compact but it runs about $220 to start and isn’t all that “compact”

I bought one of these about a year ago. Venting is a bit too fine, impeding airflow and I wish it was in grey or white. Otherwise its excellent for my needs. I paid full price and thought it was a very good value.

Noctua C14S does great in mine - it's probably about as good as you can get for an air cooler in this case.

I have a pair of Noctua NF-A12x15 in the bottom with a EVGA Z370 Micro. Works fine, even with all the headers on the bottom and still has clearance for a small card in the lower slot.
