I paid $339.99 a few weeks ago from NewEgg. It dropped to $329.99 the next day and I contacted NewEgg CS and got a $10 gift card code as price adjustment.

Now its down to $300... oof.

Still, its been a really nice monitor for me so far. No flickering as described in those Reddit posts but if it happens it seems like the various fixes are pretty easy to implement. Also I can't tell the difference between 120hz and 144hz visually so meh.

The sub-$350 27" 1440p monitor market feels like a minefield. Well reviewed monitors end up having issues somewhere, it seems. The only solution I've found online is to up your budget to $450+ and wait for a sale to get a mid-tier monitor instead.

Bah, I did months of research to build my system and much of it has turned out to be prone to a problem or failure in some respect. I landed an EVGA 3060 Ti FTW card for like $40 over MSRP only to find out after that Amazon's new online game is bricking some of those exact cards due to a soldering issue. My system is having intermittent failures to POST and it seems its either my carefully chosen SeaSonic power supply or the Crucial RAM I paid more to upgrade to because the internet told me to, or the MSI motherboard I chose after 30+ motherboard reviews. Now I learn my monitor has a potential flickering issue sometimes (I don't know how I didn't encounter this is my reasearch and reviews).

"Get out of loser console gaming and join the pc gaming master race loser"

Me: "Ok, I did it, I spent well over the cost of both a PS5 and an Xbox Series X combined and built a decent gaming PC. Now it's giving me problems in several areas. Any advice?"

"Lulz get reked loser and go back to consoles since your to stupid to have a PC".

This same deal is back at the same price. Not sure if it's worth it with the aforementioned flickering issues with this 2758 model. Apparently fixed in the newer 2768 model.
