A 8tb NAS would make a nice home storage solution for all your media files, not everyone is a gamer or has the need to stick a large mechanical drive in their computer and have it spinning up unnecessarily all the time.

you will always need bigger storage.

I recently got a 4 bay NAS. But only previously had 2 x 4TB Red Plus drives. So this will work nicely.
