[Newegg] Western Digital Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 2280 2TB $299.99

Looks like WD launched a new 2tb sn550.. it's a real good price for a 2tb nvme.

Nice to see 2TB but with the SN750 and 970 Evo Plus at $349 this week, I think those are better options for the price.

Is there any reason you'd pick this over the $270 XPG S11 Pro/$280 SX8200 Pro on Amazon?

The ones you listed are better. The XPG S11 pro in particular is great, but normally doesn't fit in laptops with the heatsink on.

...yes?

Are they not the same drive but one with a heatsink?

Both are in the sn750 range if I remember correctly.

I meant to highlight the XPG text in my response. They are both from the XPG branding lineup.

Just keep in mind that with the SX8200 Pro Adata have been shipping some of them with a different controller. This new controller is slower than the original one, so you might not get one that performs as well as the original.
