While I generally don't think this drive is very good, both drives you linked are not NVMe and are significantly slower drives, not to mention not all laptops will support SATA m.2 drives. There are some pretty decent NVMe drives in this price point that don't have controllers prone to overheating. Whether one needs the extra speed of NVMe or not is up to them to decide but you're recommending products that, while they may be fine for many, are just a different class of product.
