The blocks are non-expiring and non-renewing. The 18 Months Unlimited for $40 will renew at that price after 18 months unless you cancel.

Seems like a no-brainer for people on the $3/month unlimited plan, unless you don't like to pay in advance. Any other disadvantages I'm not seeing or thinking of?

Thanks! This is better than my 12M for $30.

What if you already have a sub you paid for that's not a block from them?

What is Usenet used for nowadays? Back in the day, it was mainly a repository of heinous materials, software, and movies.... and viruses.

It's no longer 2007, educate me gents.

That's a better deal than the black Friday $40 for 14 months deal. If I hadn't gotten that I'd be all over this. Good deal op.

It's totally fine for watchable media (90% use case these days) with any half decent indexer, or an automated setup with said indexers. He must still be manually downloading group articles and scrubbing through like 2007.

Not everyone enjoys seeding or having copyright infringement letters sent home.

I'll be jumping on this tomorrow morning before the promo expires later in the evening.

For any of you cord-cutters out there who depend on usenet for your TV Show/Movie content, this is a no-brainer deal for your automated setup with Sonarr/Radarr/Sabnzbd/Plex.

I'm currently on Newsgroupdirect $40 promo (that reduces by 10% / year for 5 years) with my next annual renewal coming up in June. I think I'm going to jump to this instead.

I signed up for the $3 plan since it's worth it even just for the included VPN alone. I haven't used Usenet in a long time, can anyone recommend a client for it?

I still have a membership with another Usenet company until September, will these guys allow you delayed start or put your account on hold?
