But the problem is, Jimmy G showed that he's not a passing specialist qb from his performance in the highest of clutch situation like in this Superbowl. That deep route he overthrew to Sanders. Not even close. If it was a guy like Big Ben, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, they don't miss those types of passes like that. They have to rely on the run game if they're going to commit to someone like Garoppolo. Out of who's available, Tannehill and Bridgewater are good game managers, though beyond that would be asking too much from them. Rivers has nothing left. Brady will likely come back to the Pats, as Tony Romo was highly believing from that Wild Card game finish.

Drop PSJ and sign Brady. He always wanted be a 49ers.

Base on his contract the 49ers can actually release him without paying his contract.

Silly questions:
1. how the heck are the mics so sensitive and covered everyone?
2. why bother covering mouth if someone can hear anyway?
The richest 1% of this country owns half our country’s wealth, 5 trillion dollars, one-third of that comes from hard work, two-thirds comes from inheritance, interest on interest accumulating to widows and idiot sons, and what I do.. <find the rest>

1. They probably "mic'd up" a lot more guys for the Super Bowl, but you still need to be close. The mic is attached to the pads of the player. At around 2 minutes into the video, Fred Warner (mic) is clear, but Nick Bosa (no mic) is much less audible. Then Travis Kelce (mic) talking the Andy Reid (no mic). Both are audible from how close they are to each other.

2. Traditionally coaches talk while covering their mouths when calling in plays. The other side of the field really has no chance of hearing it as it is radioed to the QB or defensive captain (this is not the same thing a Mic'd Up, but rather 2 way radio in the helmet), but it's the worry that an opposing player, coach, or staff can read lips. Same reason why in baseball, when pitchers talk to catchers on the mound, they cover their mouths with their gloves.

So no one can hack into the mics?

The radios between the coaches and players are managed by the NFL. The signal is encrypted. I don't know about "Mic'd Up" mics... those are also handled by the NFL, but can't find any details on it.

To the Pats? This offseason is going to be crazy with so many FA quarterbacks.
Nah... there are better options out there if Brady leaves.

The new CBA approved by players by a tiny margin.

Playoffs will now have 14 teams instead of 12. Starts with this upcoming season.. Also 17 game season will happen, but they may not start until the following season. Players get more money with revenue sharing.

I loved how perfect the 16 game season was. Play your own division twice (6 games). Play 1 division in the AFC and play 1 division in the NFC (8 games). This rotates through the years. Then 2 games with teams at your level in your conference. That helped bad teams get a few easy games to help them move up and it was great to see top tier teams face off with each other. I wonder where that extra game goes to and also, half the teams will be at a disadvantage as they will be the road team... unless it's neutral site for that game like London, Mexico, possibly Toronto?
