HELL NO!! Stay away from those guys. That only gets you what looks like a deal.
Join the loyalty programs (sign up for email from Embassy & others)
and you will get a much better Loyalty rate.
Also better: Take the room and meals package. Much better value for the money.

You may not have gotten deals with PL or HW, but I have and so did many people. If you know what you're doing, you can get good and sometimes great deals.

Orbitz usually has 15% off with coupon code.
Check individual hotel website for special deals(but might be rare in July)
Check groupon (sometimes they have promo coupons with brings down the price significantly)

So you got to stay at the Embassy for $65?

I've gotten many stays at Hyatt, Sheraton, Westin, Marriott, Hilton and even Hilton Resorts, for less than $65, all over. Often the price when you book online directly through those hotels would be over $300.

This is the current Embassy suites deal, directly from their website, but the email deal is also available, and often better: http://www.embassysuitesniagara.com/hotel-deals.html

Check out Groupon Deals.
I stayed twice at Niagara Falls hotels, once stay at Embassy and the other time at Sheraton Fallsview ($65US from Groupon).
Both end up about $100 CAD per night (depending on the season and wk-end), it gives you restaurant voucher, Casino slot credits, etc)

*I like Embassy more than Sheraton Fallsview.

Probably too late by now.
I booked in March when I stayed in the last week of May.

Do you need/want a view of the falls or need to be within walking distance of the falls / Casino's?

If not, there are plenty of hotels in surrounding areas that are likely cheaper and only a 15-20 minute drive from the falls.

There are a couple right off the highway in St. Catharines which really aren't too far from NF it self. There is a hotel in Niagara on the Lake near the outlet mall that is 5 minutes from the city.

That, or It really is $155 for just for the room for the night and everything else is free in the package. How do you wish to view it?
Quite a few things included...room also holds up to 7 people. It's a suite, not a hole in the wall for that price also.

Again, here is the deal for $155 (Mon-Thurs)
If you pay $65 at whatever hotel you went to, you still have to pay for all these extras...

Set up a loyalty email with Embassy suites Niagara falls now so that you can get a loyalty email that lists July rates in time for July.
Chances are good that they might be better deals than the rates found in the "Hotel deals" section of the Embassy suites Niagara falls website.

I see July dates at Groupon Deal for Best Western and I think Marriot. Check it out.

Okay.
Warning: The $30 Keg voucher or $70 Chris Ruth steak house voucher does not go very far. It might cover one person's meal.
Outside of that, I have no complaints. Still a great deal.
