Nice lunch buffet in Vancouver

Does anyone know of a reasonable valued lunch buffet in Vancouver? We are looking at going on a weekday but want to avoid any of the casinos as we no longer want to support the casinos in the Lower Mainland. We used to like going to the Griffins buffet at the Hotel Vancouver but that has long since closed down. Any recommendations would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I repped your thread for your comment about not wanting to support local Vancouver casinos. Wow.
I'm in on that too.

Vancouver once had several lunch buffets but they've since closed -- if you're referring to the large ones with many dishes.
There's no "Mandarin Restaurant" buffet (Toronto-area) but they've been saying they're soon going to open one in Vancouver/Richmond. I'll visit that as soon as that happens.

There was a great Indian one but it just closed a few months ago.

Yelp says... Vancouver Buffet Restaurants

Are you sure you don't want to consider the River Rock Casino? I'm told people go there on certain days of the week for their better specials. They might even have free bus service.
Just bring a suitcase full of $20-bills to show them on your way in so that they consider you a good visitor. No ID required.

I tried the River Rock Casino buffet a few weeks ago and found the quality pretty poor.

If you're looking for a nice Sunday lunch buffet try the one at Pan Pacific, unfortunately it's expensive though. I believe they also have a Saturday night opera buffet.
