[Nike] Epic/Odyssey React shoes $115-120

Odyssey is as good or better than epic Imo. React in general I like better than Adidas boost for running and I have 5 different pairs of boost runners.

Probably other great deals. Just search react.

I like the Epic React. Got them about a week ago to replace some old Nike's. Only have used on the treadmill and for workouts. Still need to take it for a real run

Note that Nike is about to release the Epic React 2's, but the differences are relatively minor:

$120 is decent. They were a little cheaper around Christmas.

These are probably my favourite running shoes: to run in, to walk in, for style. They're kind of like a more cushioned Nike Free RN.

Any runners compared this to UBs? I run around 15K a week.

Bought these on Boxing Day and I’ve ran about 20 miles in them. I have wider feet and I would recommend sizing half a size larger if you do. Cushioning is very good for me but not as soft as UB. I love running in my UB’s but prefer reacts more to be honest. They are extremely light weight which is a huge plus. Downsize is that I’ve been using them on a treadmill and they show minimal signs but if outdoors I could see these getting chewed up. Would still highly recommend giving these a try though

Most reviews recommend Pegasus 35 over these for running, close call though. Go to youtube. Some say different lengths of running use one over the other.

Looks like they pulled them from the website. Watch the outlets, hopefully under 100$

I’m a huge Nike fanboy and got these for $80 during BF. I was a little disappointed with them as I was comparing them with the UB. Ended up selling it on Kijiji.

I bought a pair of the Epic Reacts during the last sale too and I am a bit disappointed as well. I find the UBs more comfortable in general for casual use (can't say for running), and primeknit feels nicer than flyknit for me. The materials just feel a bit higher quality in the UBs.

I would probably like them more if I had never tried the UBs.

I’m a UB fan boy but after walking over 20k on my last trip in the epic reacts I was impressed with them! UB is still a bit more comfortable however react is not far behind. To me the pro for the react is they take up much less space and much lighter so they’re better to bring on a trip. The con is the creasing problem on the midsole which can look bad on the white ones but can’t really tell on the black reacts. The reacts do run narrow so my suggestion is go half size up. Now that the react 2s are out with very minor differences, and them pulling the listing of react 1s from their website, there’s a good chance the react 1s will be on clearance in outlets. I’d jump on another pair if they’re sub 80
