Followed instructions and seems to fail every time with 4 different credit cards. Would you be able to share what details you’re putting ?

Thanks! Got it for $5 on the Argentina shop.

Scotia AMEX didn't go through. Tangerine MC worked.

There's no way this Argentina eShop stuff is some form of fraud, right? I mean, we're supplying false information on where we live and then charging a credit card to that address. Thinking about it now, that sounds legally dubious. I've bought a few games this way now and I'm getting a little spooked. Not sure I'm going to do it again.

At the very least Nintendo has the capability to say "here's the account they redeemed this to, it has the same name and most of the same home address, we've obviously got the right person, let's ban their real account/hardware".

That's what I'd expect from Sony, Microsoft, or even Steam. It's probably only Nintendo's miserable incompetence at everything to do with the internet that's let us keep our accounts to this point...

The Switch was made region-free, and I'm buying the game. I don't know if it's fraud or not, but I personally don't feel bad at all.

I think the party is over for the Argentina eShop deals. I've been trying to get a couple more games but payment fails every time, even with the credit cards that worked before or new ones nothing works anymore.
Has anyone been able to buy something at the Argentina eShop lately?
