Basically, no. It's never had a price drop.
I literally made a thread 2 years ago where Amazon had a lightning deal for a $329.99 Switch.
amazon-ca-nintendo-switch-amazon-lightn ... 9-2242169/
Yes, it was a v1. But still, at that point there was no such thing a a v2 Switch.
This and last years' sales are bundles instead of price drops. Include a free game to say you are "saving $79.99".
And this year is SLIGHTLY better because last year's bundle used the leftover stock of v1 Switchs. This year, it's v2 (the one with the battery life). Still same price, with same game.

Yes I mean the code. It does come with 3 months of online as well, so that may be useful as well to a prospective buyer. Not sure what to do. I guess I’ll just post an ad for both.
Also, is it easy enough to transfer stuff from my old Switch to the new one, and would everything transfer over?

Thanks. I couldn't be bothered with BB anymore. I walked into my local WM and picked one up on the spot.
I tried called BB support, wait times were 90 mins. lol. BB what a joke.
My TForce shipping info just keeps changing. It hasn't had any updates since I got the tracking on Tuesday. It was from estimated delivery Wed. It was changed today to estimated delivery of today. Now it just updated to be estimated delivery Sat. I don't trust it at all.

I’m wondering if I should order another switch at regular price right now since it may seem like my Best Buy order was either stolen or loss in transit. Would like to make sure I have one for the kids.
I’m assuming the source allows returns after Christmas if box is unopened in case the Best Buy order somehow shows up?

I remember that deal. I passed on it then because of the battery life after doing some research and figured there would be another sale in the next few months.. like what the heck? Haven't seen a handheld hold value this well in a long time. Good on Nintendo for managing supply and demand.. Reggie knew what he was doingSkilas wrote: ↑ Basically, no. It's never had a price drop.

Thanks, wife isn't a gamer but she found What The Golf absolutely hilarious and was asking me to buy it for some time. Got it now.
Been hoping for a sale on the Goose game but missed it when it was cheaper in September. Disappointed it's not on sale this weekend.

The Nintendo 256 SD card for $54 is a good deal? seems like it have never been this low according to CCC. It is basically a rebrand of the SanDisk Extreme?

Since I'm mostly a physical disk kind of guy, do you it's necesssary to get a SDcard? I know I can always pick one up from Costco or CanComputers on the cheap.

Personally, I think so. The speeds match a Sandisk Extreme. Which is plenty fast enough for what the Switch needs. I wouldn't go down to an Ultra though.
It takes micro SD cards, and yes I feel that one is necessary. You don't need a big one if you are all physical. But there are a lot of games that are download only, and even "small" games are several GBs.

I ended up buying this because I was worried about space over the long term ownership of the console.

If you want to do the online songs stuff. only 2021 will be getting the new songs. 2020 will frozen. You can play the songs they released already but not any of the new new hotness is my understanding.
I got 2020 physical during that Ubi sale for like $11+tx. I'm gonna try out 2020 see if I like it and then if I want new hotness I'll upgrade.
