[Nintendo] - Pretty hot - $19.99 Dragon Ball FighterZ: FighterZ edition bundle (Switch e-store)

Ok. So this may be YMMV but unsure. I can't see too many specifics as I already purchased, so some of the details are from memory. But read on if you're interested.

Anyway the link I provided IS NOT the deal itself, but I can't get a working link to the deal itself. It's listed under dlc and bundles, below the main game page. This bundle contains the full game plus 8 characters and is $60 CHEAPER than the game alone.

I tried searching it on the e store and this deal wouldn't come up, not under deals or under the search function. So it seems you'll have to do the same as I did and click through the link provided to get the deal.

If you can find a proper link please let me know - this is the best I can do at the moment.

EDIT: It appears that my link was redirecting people to the American page where it is indeed $15. However with the Canadian page it's $19.99 still. Sorry for any confusion.

Yeah I can confirm it works. I see the price as $19.99 CAD

I didn't buy it though because I already own this game on PS4 with the additional fighter packs too.

Thanks anyway.

Yea, this is definitely one of those games that’s better on the PS4

if anyone wants the whole thing with all 3 passes, it'll come to $60 plus tax (fighterZ edition gives you base game + pass 1 for $15) then, add pass 2 and 3

Lol, pretty much true for any game with a heavy multiplayer component (portability isn't really that useful if you're playing competitively vs. better graphics, framerates, etc.). But I'm STOKED, as the Switch is the only console I've ever owned and the port is well-done! Graphics are great for Switch, if there's FR dropping I didn't notice in an hour of play. Highly recommended to anyone who doesn't have any other options ;)

Hey... Poonsnatcha. Sorry, looks like my link was sending you to the American page. The Canadian page is still (at least for me) $19.99. But maybe this is a YMMV thing. Thanks for the heads up.

I thought FighterZ is 1 of the rare games that perform similarly on the Switch compared to PS4 no? 1080p 60fps with only a slight quality decrease. Unless you meant the player base being smaller on the Switch.

I believe you if you say so! It seems like a great port as I mentioned before. Just used to pre empting ps4/Xbox haters with the typical disclaimer that yes, it may not be as polished as your enormous...ly powerful console's version but it has its charm and definitely worth it if you have a switch (like me).

Another example is TW3 - awesome game, awesome port. Serious graphics reduction? Sure. But still a fantastic game and a great way to play (I played most of it handheld). Imo the graphics are only a part of the art form. And db fighterz has no such graphical drawbacks to my knowledge

But yeah, re. my comments, the smaller player base is a drawback and I have found lag during online to be slightly more of an issue with the switch than with my friends' other consoles. So it can be a minor frustration to play intense, time sensitive multiplayer online. I think the switch really shines in in-house play but that's just my opinion.

For me personally, I'd take the overall portability and game selection of the switch over the (generally better-performing) other console's any day - 'tis why I bought one :)

The link I provided is for a $79.99 game. Did you scroll down to the DLC/Bundles section? It's there, looking like a little dlc package for $20 but it's actually the full game PLUS dlc.
