Personally I like physical copy much more than digital, because high resell value

You're actually better off buying it at gamestop since they also sell digital games.

No tax there.

Seems like td rewards 40%off (up to $40 off $100) does not apply to digital codes such as these ones.

I'd argue that you will never sell a game like Mario Kart

Also nice to be able to lend/borrow/trade with friends.

In my case, however, it isn't worth the trouble with young kids in the mix wanting to endlessly cycle through the games and unable to do so without help or possible damage. Any sort of travel makes this factor even worse, even more so in terms of losing them.

Agreed… it’s different for everyone.

If you set up the primary switch with a different account you can use the same game on two systems. Works great for my situation.

Might be ATL? not sure but being less than $55 seems like a steal for now.

Woah, didn't know you can do this. Still new to the switch ecosystem.

As somebody who has none of these games and is a solo player, is there a recommendation on a game to buy?

I got a geographic restriction error and couldn't order with amazon, nor with gamestop, not sure why. Live right in Ontario and not using VPNs or anything...

MK and Mario U are definitely more multiplayer oriented, still enjoyable solo.

3D was real nice, can't comment on Luigi/Yoshi's.

Thanks OP and to the guy who recommended Gamestop to avoid tax.

Mario Kart 8 is a no brainer buy for almost anyone who owns a Switch. You probably won't want to resell it anyways. I have never seen physical copies below $65. New Super Mario Bros is also great.

It's too bad Mario Odyssey isn't also this price, I am looking for that one.

Primary switch has multiple accounts and can all play digital games installed under primary account.

Second switch can play games from the primary account if connected online and the primary switch is using a secondary account.

I don’t know if that makes sense.

I've sold about 6 copies so far this year, so it's not hard to sell them :)

Nintendo physical games hold their value to almost full retail price.
