That's in US currency so it's $132.99 Canadian. Please update the title thread.

For the record i have all consoles (Nintendo, PS5, Xbox One) but its like beating a dead horse on this subject, but still can’t believe they havent done a Nintendo Selects yet for $29.99 or even $39.99. They have a ton of first party older games that can be in this list and many would pay.

Since they are greedy and dont, you are better off looking on kijiji or marketplace, any of those games can be had for $40-$60, $50 being the avg.

You can stack this using the Costco $90 for $100 Nintendo eshop codes
I'd be more apathetic if I weren't so lethargic

Decent deal if you plan on buying the new pokemon and fire emblem

Not sure why people are upset about this deal...

Thanks for the heads up! Granted, some of the selections aren’t amazing… But everything recent is in there. Plus they are saying it will work for up to 12 months on future releases… Although doubtful about new Zelda. Maybe though?!?

The last time the voucher program existed Nintendo was pretty diligent about adding new releases.

If I didn't want a physical copy of Tears of the kingdom I'd be going this route.

Buy hard copies only. Especially for Nintendo games. They hold their physical value so well due to lack of sales. And when they eventually shut down the online store at least you'll have access to your games in the future.

Only worth it if you already have Switch Online subscription.

If you don't play Switch Online, then it's not worth it unless you buy more than one set of vouchers.

How are you getting that price? It's $99.98 plus tax which is $112.98 total. FE: Engage is $79.99+ tax by itself and other games could be added later. I'm probably not going to bite as I prefer physical for resale, but I do want FE: Engage and won't buy it at full price. At $56-ish, it's tempting.

EDIT: They must have my region wrong as the email they sent me had the US pricing... ugh. At $132, I'll wait for physical.

Do you think Tears will make the list? I'm assuming not, BUT if it does... I'd consider this route.

The email sent out says its $99.98.

Unfortunately it looks like they didn't bother to make unique emails for Canada because that's in USD.

The price in Canada is $132.99 CAD.

If it was $99.98 I would have went for this immediately.

Yup... it just adds credit to your account to use on anything. $94 online but it was $90 in store. Haven't seen them in store for a bit though. Haven't actually looked with intention.

The deals not horrible.

Nintendo has a totally different price econsystem than PS or XBox. The other two consoles charge full price for the first several months, then the discounts begin, and after a year or two the discounts get pretty steep during sales. Nintendo seems to leave their stuff at full price, with small sales from time to time. Sometimes few and far between. I guess their methodology must be that Xbox/PS leave money on the table, because a whole bunch of people hold off buying new games because they know they'll be way cheaper later on, whereas Nintendo there's only a little benefit to waiting months on end for the next small sale.

When you buy the credit from costco, then use gold points (I think this generates about $6 in gold points), and account for being in a province with GST only, it's not a horrible sale. I prefer digital and only bought the switch on black friday. I've been finding most deals were on physical games, so nice to find a bit of a discount on digital.
