[No Frills] No Name 'Ramen' Noodle - $0.10 each

No Name brand 'Ramen' Noodle soup mix -- 10 cents each

I can't vouch for the quality but it's in this week's No Frills flyer

Can anyone comment if this is better than Mr. Noodle? :)

If you’re gonna save money by eating ramen, atleast pick a flavourful brand and spend some 50cents more. I ran into this problem as an Asian traveling in Europe, stuck with the no name and it was terrible beef or chicken. Finally in the capital city I was able to get Nissin

Could say the same about those that like the brands you've mentioned...

T&T carries these for $10 per 4-serving pack, give these a try https://www.amazon.com/Moms-Dan-Dry-Noo ... B07HM8ZN6V

Do I care?
I'm not going to advocate for $2-3 ones but spend $1 and get something tasty. These weak broth made of not sure what is really disappointing. Noodles are also very weak and doesn't have much of texture.

Noname: salt, sugar, MSG, onion powder, tomato powder, natural and artificial flavors
Mr Noodles: salt, MSG, sugar, onion powde,r soy sauce powder

Nongshim Neoguri: Squid, Anchovy extracts, shrimp, fish sauce

No wonder NoName/MrNoodles (Chinese import in disguise) lacks flavor.

If you want to be cheap then I recommend MAMA noodles. 60 cents a pack at my grocery store and 50 cents a pack at my asian grocery (my asian grocery also has like 8 different flavours). They have a flavouring powder, chili powder, and flavoured oil packet which is much better than these noodles.

These are worse than Mr Noodles and Mr Noodles is already poor. Did a comparison last week coincidentally. The price is right though.

just a thought, maybe it's a good price for the noodles alone and you can use them however you want and discard the broth?

Doesn't improve all the time, but I'll just put leftover soup base packs from name brands like Nong Shim, Ottogi or Samyang etc. for these 10 cents ramen noodles. LOL

Longtime user of Mr Noodle here(at $0,29, pre-cholera).
I can attest No Name is unsavory. but this thread might make me splurge on the luxury brands mentioned.

When I was a kid, I'd ask my parents for spare change to buy candy, and then I'd walk to the store and get Mr. Noodle instead. Worst part is I would deliberately overcook the noodles.

My wife likes her ramen overcooked too, but she's definitely a ramen snob; she grew up on Europe and prefers Soba, which is a Nissin brand.

10 cents is a pretty great price point though...

I'd rather spend more for Indomie if I'm going for low cost noodles. Prima taste laksa if I'm balling. But I mean 10 cent noodles can't really complain for the price. I just am not their target audience.
