I can also confirm that Loblaws has the chicken thighs for reg price $16 with 6000 points back. Can anyone confirm seeing these at SDM? There's an opportunity to stack 6,000 points with $20 spent on food

Such small quantities. Seems like a gimmick with the points, even for $5 I would go with Pinty's at Costco.

The sizes of these is pretty standard for grocery store boxed chicken and shrimp, and at $5 effective price a great deal IMO. Does Pintys sell smoked chicken thighs and butterflied jumbo grilling shrimp? Sounds like apples to oranges if comparing these to a Costco sized box of chicken wings.

Bought it with the exact same offer for the Garlic Shrimp 2 week end ago at No Frills on Warden/7.
Baked it the same day, there is about 12 of them. A little bit salty, but we used the left over sauce to dip bread and make it as garlic bread, haha

Not bad for a try. Will never buy one at regular price. (although I bought at regular price with 6$ worth of PC points back)

The hardwood thigh initial taste inpression: Nice strong smokiness. Ingredients look simple. Not bad.
After eating a few pieces: This smoke is overwhelming. Will I get cancer?

anything smoked, or even imitation smoke from a bottle is bad for your health, if not done in moderation. As usual.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon

I think the offer was time limited in the west. All the signs pointing to bonus points are gone. It's not wroth it without points.

Did you get it at No Frills or RCSS location? I still have enough sliders from 2 weeks ago where people double dipped on two promos. They are fine but easily falls between BBQ grates

I picked them up at a No Frills. Might go back tomorrow for some more sliders.

if you have cancer, one of the first things you are told is to avoid smoked foods. That's quite telling of what oncologists think of this type of food. A healthy person should be fine, if eating this in moderation. There are ways of limiting the damage, but food processing companies aren't even trying.
