Because they want to be good citizens and pay their taxes. Some of them are disappointed it's not double tax event.

I mean you technically pay taxes...they just discount the items by the value of the tax.

The only downside is that anything you buy during these are Final Sale.

Does no tax apply to facial tissue? I bought some and ended up getting charged the tax but didn't notice until I got home and checked my receipt.
