No taxes on my Walmart.ca groceries

No taxes on my Walmart.ca groceries

I used walmart.ca for groceries pick up for the first time today and noticed it said FREE where HST is, why is that?

Emm..because most groceries are HST/GST free.

No.

Each individual item that is not tax exempt should still get taxed. If your grocery order had like toothpaste, and everything else in the order was tax exempt like fresh vegetables, only the toothpaste would be taxed.

If your Walmart order had taxable items and weren't taxed, then Walmart messed up.
