Price just dropped. Good to have for the current (and future) cold snaps! As with Amazon, the price may change anytime, but it's currently $112.97 and in stock.

Micro USB connector, not mini.
I hope when they come out with a Type C, that it supports PD charging.

These are nice. Saves you the trouble of digging out frozen booster cables out of the trunk. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't ship this to my location, but we have a Walmart store and Walmart often has this for the same price and I have managed to get it shipped to store.

Grabbed one yesterday as soon as I saw the thread. Surprised that it went back up to 141$ this fast.

Yeah, looks like it went up...I was actually planning to buy this since I was tired of calling CAA (who actually uses the HD version to boost) and must have missed this thread until now. Congrats on snagging it, that's a nice price!

I've had this for a couple of years, went through a few different brands that didn't work for crap. This one works like a charm.

With that said, it is almost certainly underpowered for a truck or larger vehicle.

I bought the GB50 half year ago for about $150. Gave it to my sister for her cars. The price of the GB540 has gone back up to $247. Now I am waiting for the GB50 to come back down to the $150 range

Noco GB70 or higher...waiting for good deal, GB40 has too many mixed reviews. Lower build quality than GB70.

30,000+ amazon reviewers giving it an average of 4.6 out of 5 stars. I'd say that's a little better than mixed.

It's also back to the OP price.

The GB40 finished in the bottom half of the jump starters tested by the Project Farm.

I love that guy's review videos, but something doesn't seem right with the NOCO unit. He can't get one dead battery to start in his warm shop and yet this guy gets multiple starts out of one charge at whatever degree below zero it happens to be where he is.
