Shown in the picture is the NH-D15. Link is to NH-D15S, which is the single fan model that allows for more compatibility with motherboards by not blocking the first PCIe slot.

And the chrome/brown version is $20 cheaper.
The normal brown one charges tax, which effectively makes it ~$113 (assuming 13% tax).
So the difference is $7 for the aesthetic.

I have the D15 (two fan) version in the NZXT case and it's so silent. I wasn't able to use the second fan as intended since the RAM sticks got in the way. Instead I removed the second fan (easy to do with a clip) and put it on my case instead. The Noctua fan is so much more silent than the stock case fan.

Even so, earlier generation coolers used to be 60% of this price.... I remember buying the top of the line one sub $60

I have this exact cooler on my 3600. This thing cools near AIO. Idle at 32C, mining full load with PB on - tops out at 70C. Drops the temp down to 40C within a few seconds when switching between mining jobs.

Highly recommend for very efficient near silent cooling if you don't want to go with AIO.

Also note that this thing is HUGE! Make sure you have clearance in your case.
