Nordic winter tires - should I go? coz it's 60$ sale in CT in clearance section

I see there are some nordic winter tires near to my area are under clearance in CT. 120$ per tire. Should I go? When I called them and ask about manufacturing year, I was told one of them is 2019 and I guess it's same for all 4. Experts advise pls.

They are good. 2019 isn’t bad if it has been stored indoor.

I am not an expert, but I had them for my minivan and I would say they are really bad tires. Just after the installation of them developed "bulge". It is free replacement, but you have to pay for installation on the rim again! They wear down too quickly and were loud on the road. I would never buy them.

I had the opposite experience. On a heavy vehicle like a minivan, these tires went through anything before ground clearance became an issue. The rubber also seems to be harder than other winter tires so they lasted a very long time. I know in theory this should result in less winter grip but I never had issues.

Their tread life is a surprise. A friend sold his civic and gave me his used Nordic tires. I thought I would get 1 or 2 winters out of them but managed 4 winters before I didn’t feel comfy with tread life…I then used them for the summer lol.
