[ebates] NordVPN Thanksgiving 40% CB.

Deal Link:
Savings:
40% CB
Retailer:
NordVPN
Ebates has double CB on NordVPN that can be stacked on their 2Y deal for US$3.99/mo. Effectively making it US$58 for 2Y VPN.

Edit: The 2.75 coupon has vanished from ebates. Sorry folks. But the 40% CB is still working with their 2Y deal.

European servers are snail-like. I tried this during the last deal and cancelled within 3 days. Typical for a tech company that advertises almost wall to wall on US cable networks.

Buying any VPN like this for 3 years is pure lunacy.

I am very happy with NordVPN, using their US East/New York as well as Florida servers for both streaming US Netflix and Hulu, and torrenting at the same time.

$60 USD for 3 years is a steal.

NordVPN is legit. I used them before and they are pretty fast.

I'm not saying it isn't legit. But there are many complaints in Europe, and I confirmed this, that connections there get very slow. Although it does have an effective kill switch and technically delivers good service, the speed issue killed it for me. For the price of a Starbucks, ExpressVPN delivers much better value. They should invest in the service, not their annoying TV ads that I see everywhere.

Are you connecting to Europe from Canada? Or when you are in Europe?

From here. I sometimes connect to geo-blocked services or to those who I need to "convince" I'm there to make them work correctly. However, there are many complaints from those in-country, such as Germans trying to connect to German NordVPN servers.

NordVpn is decent. I don't know about European servers, but for local torrenting it is great. I love the fact that the program has an option for a program-specific kill switch instead of an overall internet kill switch. I get my full speed from local Canadian/US servers. BTW, when i put my order through with a 3-year code (I did this about 3 weeks ago), it said 3 years, but applied to my account as a 2-year plan. I emailed them, and they increased it back to 3 without any hassle.

Question for ones that torrent with vpn. Do you pick your own country (faster speed) or pick a safer country (allows torrents) but a much slower download speeds?

Is there any vpn or dns service that works with Amazon prime video? (Using a Roku device). My dns service was working up until last week.
