I think 70% off 3-year subscription is common but Rakuten just bumped cashback up from 20% to 60% [updated from 40% previously]

I have been trying to use rakuten but I'm never sure if it's actually working or not... Is there a way to tell if I will get the cashback after an order? I just tried to do it with NordVPN, using edge to be sure that any adblock or whatever didn't interfere but I still don't know if it worked... How long does it take to process normally?

It takes a couple days for Rakuten to process. If it doesnt show up just open a ticket and they will credit you.

No problem for torrenting.
I'd just add that Rakuten cashback can go up to 60% and the 70% off from NordVPn is always there, not a real limited time sale.

FWIW cashback usually gets up to 70 or 75%. I recommend using cashbackmonitor to search https://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/nordvpn/. I ended up getting it 75% cashback off the 70% price and it worked out to like 31 dollars US for 3 years

Rakuten tops at 60% I think. I got it on the 17th last month. and they had a 75% off on nordvpn website rather than 70% off - also a 3 extra month; so I paid $155.88 CAD for 39 months, and got $93.53 Cash Back

Maybe I got 75 because I had an active one, so just increased till Feb 2024.

Mind you that they normally don't accept coupons that are not on their website (it was 70% off on website, but nordvpn applied 75 automatically as it was better) - but they added my cash back as courtesy.

You will get netflix’s proxy error using NordVPN on Firestick or other Android consoles. So, for choosing the right VPN for you, it really depends on what and how you use it. For examples: what system (windows, mac/ios, android etc), purpose (torrenting, streaming, download etc), what device (laptop, ipad, firestick, TV console etc).

I know for sure ExpressVPN is Netflix friendly with Firestick and Shield with amazing speed. Unfortunately, it’s relatively expensive compared to NordVPN etc and they hardly/never have a promo.

Just read an updated review of nordvpn, I think it was the latest issue of pcworld, netflix is a hit or miss, sometimes its gonna work, sometimes it wont.
Otherwise for torrents its excellent. But highly overpriced imo.

Nope, Like I already said Nordvpn does not support port forwading. I suggest you try a VPN that does support it. You will have greater speed especialy with rare torrents.

Been using NordVPN for about year or so now and bf using it for torrenting no issues to my knowledge and I use it for US netflix to watch criminal minds (haha) no issues for me sometimes you will get an error but if I click a different US server it will load fine

Three years for Nord is always 70%, the cash back makes this a good deal though. I got in on a similar deal about 8 months ago and its been solid for me.
